I’ve been working my way through the Paul McGann audio books… and writing about them… It’s been suggested I start sharing them, and I think I may do that. They may not be that interesting, but in case you’re thinking of joining the party this will give you some idea of what you’re looking for.
If you know me, you know I’ve been at this a lot recently. I’ll be honest here. Even though I do slam some of the audio books, I now feel like we were cheated out of McGann on TV. I wasn’t a huge fan of the movie so although I liked him I wasn’t that attached to him. But now? Oh yes, I completely love him now!
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This entire thing reminded me of something, but I can’t put my finger on it. It was a bit darker than we’ve seen in a while, and I really enjoyed that. It’s a nice theater mystery that’s not what it seems.
When Lucie woke up in the dressing room she reminded me a lot of Rose… Wait, that’s it! The theater in Penny Dreadful – that’s what I was picturing in my mind while listening to this.
